A Roma con glamour

First of all I apologize for the long absence but I've had a very busy time lately. Last November I was fortunate to travel to Rome to visit a wonderful friend. The truth is that I had a great time, it was my first visit to Italy and after 5 days in Rome from here to there, between ancient monuments and aperitivis I left wanting more.

Back in Madrid faculty work kept me busy for a while but soon I was working into the preparations for the next destination, my beloved London. This time the reason for my visit was not other than going to a design course at Central Saint Martins and certainly deserve much worth. And to deceive you, for me any excuse is good to return to the city where I spent the best time of my life. Good company, traveling with a great trip companion and friend, a course as less inspiring and exciting city and now after two years without the chance I'm back home for Christmas with my family and my old friends, I personally do not ask for anything more as my Christmas gift. Soon I will show some of the photos I took there.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas to all!

Strathcona Stockings

Due to my love of rolling up the jeans (I'm short and is the coolest way to make the long of the trousers to fit me and avoid to cut them, I hate to cut the long) and my love of wearing sandals with socks and my love of prints and my love of beautiful high socks (wow! too much love), this amazing brand is beloved by me.

Strathcona Stockings has a wonderful collection of fine handprinted stockings and socks with original prints, specially designed, photographed or collaged by Stratchcona and the pieces are made in limited quantities.

You can get them at their online store and don't panic because they ship internationally.

Can't wait to have a pair, or two or even three!

House of Holland x Superga

It's not a secret and I'm a creeper and platform lover and when my pair of creepers said "I'm done!"
I had to look for another pair of good ones, actually I really want a pair of TUK or Underground creepers to replace the old ones but I will wait till December when I will have the chance to find the properly ones during my stay in London but in the meanwhile I decided to go for a sneakers pair.

Wearing black creepers at Spray, Madrid

I have to admit that I been late on this collaboration but when my eyes caught the work between House of Holland and Superga I couldn't get it out from my mind. And yes I been late for them because it has been a summer collaboration but I got them on sales so it has been a great deal!

Before moving to London I already admired the work of the English designer and since last winter I have been looking for the perfect pair of Superga's to join my shoes collection and I really found the right ones!

The winners were the model 2790 which has a 4 cm sole with the designer polka dots print and it is a limited edition so I can't go wrong with them! The print remind me of home so I definitely went for them!

Actually I'm thinking about getting the mint ones as well, love the color!

There is also the 2750 classic Superga model with great prints so check it out before the limited edition is gone!

You can get them straight from the Superga online store!

Front row: The Ragged Priest

Who has never dreamed with a black biker jacket completely full of spikes? Any? Well, actually I.
The main problem for myself was to find the properly biker, that's not that easy and the machine to put on the spikes, which I've been almost 3 years looking for it and it's impossible to find. But when I was living in London two years ago I found the solution for both problems. Walking around the multi-brand floor from Topshop Oxford Circus I saw a world full of gorgeous spikes everywhere, there was amazing biker jackets, sweaters and shorts everything with shining ones that took each piece to perfection.

The brand's name is The Ragged Priest and all the pieces are done in London with love, the have a great vintage selection available online at ASOS marketplace.

You can buy online straight from their website, at selected Topshop stores and at selected worldwide stores.

They also had an amazing bleached collection last summer but their spiked pieces are the best for me, so stay tuned, check their website and buy before it's gone!

I would love to have the full collection and I'm ready to get some more spiked pieces as soon as I am back to London in December.

Kenzolution!

Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

Front Row: Massimo Giorgetti

Massimo Giorgetti is the talented designer behind MSGM, the italian brand which is driving me mad with their amazing prints. Massimo started in the fashion industry into the commercial enviroment but he quickly moved into designing ones. In 2004 he settles himself as a professional designer and in 2008 he starts MSGM in partnership with Paoloni Group. His interest for indie music, being MGMT and The Strokes his favourites bands, stands out in the collections he creates.

For this season Massimo, who is a master mixing prints, has created a colorful world full of flowers and cool prints which will rock the grey and rainy days! I'm dying for all those unicorns and fireworks!

Also love the campaing and promotional video "Flowerworks" by Luca Finotti, so inspiring!
